Healthy Eating Habits for 2027: How I Quit Meat in 2 Months and Went Raw in 6
Healthy eating habits for 2027 from a founder's real year: no meat in 2 months, raw food in 6, no bread in 12, and the 7 habits that stayed with me since.

Healthy eating habits are a few small food routines you stop deciding about. I collected mine in one year: no meat in two months, raw food in six, no bread and no cooked food in twelve.
I'm a founder from Dnipro. Later I brought cooked food back. Meat never came back. Here's the year month by month, the healthy eating habits that stayed, and how to copy the part that works.
Key takeaways
- 2 months to quit meat. Replace first, remove later.
- 6 months to go fully raw.
- 12 months: no meat, no bread, no cooked food.
- 400 g of sprouted buckwheat a day. My base for 15 years.
- 1 recipe for breakfast. Zero decisions before work.
Healthy eating habits in 2027: 3 numbers to start with
| Number | What it means | What I take from it |
|---|---|---|
| 400 g | The common guideline for fruit and vegetables a day | My green smoothie starts on it before 10 am |
| About 1 in 10 | US adults who eat enough vegetables | Knowing is easy. Doing it daily is the hard part. |
| About 66 days | Average time for a habit to form | My meat switch took about 60. Close. |
My year, month by month
| When | What changed |
|---|---|
| Month 1 | Meat replaced with beef liver and chicken fillet |
| Month 2 | Turkey liver only. Chicken out. |
| End of month 2 | No meat. Eggs, cheese, mushrooms with rice, pasta with vegetables, fish, shrimp, canned cod liver. |
| Months 3 to 6 | Less cooked food. Rice out, sprouted wheat in, then sprouted buckwheat. |
| Month 6 | Fully raw. Sprouted buckwheat, cabbage salad, a little carrot. |
| Months 7 to 12 | Bread out. Dry crackers first, then my own, made in a dehydrator. |
| Later | Cooked and fried food came back. Meat didn't. |
Case 1. How to quit meat in 2 months
I didn't quit in one day. I replaced meat step by step, each step about a month.
- 01Month one: liver and chicken. Beef liver and chicken fillet took the place of meat.
- 02Month two: one source. Beef liver became turkey liver. Chicken went out completely. Only turkey liver for about a month.
- 03Then: no meat. Turkey liver became eggs, cheese and a lot of mushrooms. Oyster mushrooms, champignons, fried, with rice. Pasta with vegetables. Fish, shrimp, canned cod liver.
The trick is the ladder. Each step is close to the previous one, so the change feels small. Eggs, cheese and mushrooms carried most of the weight.
If you're wondering how to quit meat without a fight, copy the ladder: a close replacement, then one source, then eggs, cheese, mushrooms and fish. A month per step. Big diet changes are worth a check with your doctor.
Case 2. A raw food diet in 6 months
After meat, I kept going. Over the next four months I slowly cut cooked food. Rice went first. Sprouted wheat came in, then I found sprouted buckwheat, and it became my main food.
My daily lunch at the time: sprouted buckwheat, a cabbage salad, a little carrot. A big batch every day. I ate two 400 g jars of buckwheat at lunch. Six months in, I was fully on a raw food diet.
Case 3. No bread in 12 months
Another six months, and bread went too. First I switched to dry crackers. Then I started making my own: sprouted wheat, carrot, beetroot and spices, ground in a meat grinder and dried in a dehydrator.
In one year I dropped meat, bread and cooked food.
Later I brought cooked and fried food back. Meat stayed out. Today my plate is raw food plus vegetarian: buckwheat and salads raw, shrimp in the evening, sometimes pasta.
7 healthy eating habits I keep today
| Habit | How long | Why it holds |
|---|---|---|
| Warm water with lemon on an empty stomach | every morning | First step of the morning chain |
| Green smoothie as the first meal | every morning | One recipe. Nothing to decide. |
| Breakfast at the same time | every day | Fixed time, before the work rush |
| Sprouted green buckwheat, about 400 g | 15 years | One jar a day is enough now |
| No meat | since that first year | Never went back |
| Raw base, cooked extras | today | Raw lunch, shrimp or pasta in the evening |
| Cooking at home, fewer sweets | more in 2026 | Dishes I like, like a raw vegan borscht |
None of these is in my plan anymore. They just happen.
The green smoothie: my healthy breakfast habit
My first meal, every day: a bunch of cilantro or parsley, a banana, a little water. Blend and drink.
It holds because it sits in a chain I don't break. Warm water with lemon. Pu-erh while I look through the day plan. Then the smoothie, at the same time every day. On a good day before 10.

How to eat healthy: 7 steps that worked for me
- 01Replace before you remove. Meat went through liver, turkey liver, then eggs and mushrooms.
- 02One step a month. Each step stayed until it felt normal.
- 03Find your base food. Sprouted buckwheat has carried me for 15 years.
- 04Make it in batches. A big daily batch of buckwheat and salad meant no decisions at lunch.
- 05Fix the first meal. One recipe, one time. More on chains in if-then plans and habit stacking.
- 06Let some things come back. Cooked food returned. The main change, no meat, held.
- 07Watch the numbers. A food habit that holds less than half the time needs to get smaller. More in how long it takes to form a habit.
Healthy eating for entrepreneurs: 3 rules for a full day
Healthy eating for entrepreneurs breaks in one place: the morning rush. A client writes from another time zone, you dive in, breakfast moves to noon.
- Eat before work starts. Rushing into urgent work before breakfast is the start of a bad day for me.
- Decide the first meal once. One recipe, made the same way every morning.
- Keep a base food ready. A jar of sprouted buckwheat beats a quick, worse option.
The rest of my morning order is in do the hardest thing first?
5 common mistakes with healthy eating habits
| Mistake | What I do instead |
|---|---|
| Removing meat with nothing in its place | A close replacement first |
| Changing everything in one week | One step a month |
| A new breakfast every day | One recipe, every morning |
| No base food in the house | A daily batch of one simple dish |
| Treating a step back as failure | Some things return. Keep the main change. |
How Aimgod helps
Give your first meal a time and make it a repeating task. Put it in a sphere, like Food or Health. For a bigger change, number the steps as tasks: month one, month two, month three. The Habit tab shows how it really holds: your rate, eight weeks of bars, a streak.
FAQ
What are healthy eating habits?
Small food routines you repeat until you stop deciding about them: the same healthy breakfast, a fixed time for it, a base food, cooking at home. One at a time works better than a full diet change.
How to quit meat gradually?
Replace it step by step, about a month per step. I went from meat to beef liver and chicken, then to turkey liver only, then to eggs, cheese, mushrooms and fish. It took two months.
How long does it take to switch to a raw food diet?
For me, six months. After quitting meat I spent four more months cutting cooked food, with sprouted buckwheat as the base.
How do I eat healthy with a busy schedule?
Eat before work starts, decide your first meal once, and keep one simple base food ready. The fewer food decisions in a busy day, the better.
